Big data startup Adatao just raised about $13 million in a Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz. Founded in 2012 by some former Google and Yahoo engineers, Adatao boasts the ability to process
search queries -- in English or several computer languages -- in less time than it would take to verbalize said queries. “As more devices generating more data connect to the Internet, the
ability to analyze data in real time will become more important,” The Wall Street Journal reports.
