PubMatic Adds 12 UK Clients, Beefs Up International Leadership Team

PubMatic, a supply-side platform (SSP), on Wednesday announced 12 new partnerships with UK publishers. Per a release, new partners include The Economist, Haymarket, ESI Media (Independent, London Evening Standard), Northern & Shell, Local World, Shortlist Media, Vice, Coull Ltd., talkSPORT Radio, TV Guide UK, Press Holdings Media Group (including The Spectator) and Contented Group.

In conjunction with the slew of new partnerships, PubMatic has promoted John Stoneman to VP of EMEA. He was formerly senior advertising solutions director, international. Bill Swanson has been promoted to country manager, UK.

PubMatic has also hired three new execs to focus on the company’s international business. Frederick Leuschner, formerly of Google and Microsoft, joins as business development director, EMEA; Daniel Wilson, formerly of Amobee, joins as senior director of mobile and video, international; and Emma Newman, formerly of Microsoft, AOL and Clear Channel, joins as senior marketing director, international.

“As digital ad spend in programmatic and Real-Time bidding continues to surge, PubMatic’s EMEA expansion and senior team will be instrumental to supporting publishers as they develop their digital strategies,” stated Stoneman.
