Tom Noble Moves From BMW Australia To Oversee Mini U.S.A. Marketing .

Mini U.S.A. has tapped Tom Noble, a marketer at BMW Australia, as department head, Mini Brand Communications. Noble, who will handle all brand positioning duties for Mini in the U.S. at the company's U.S. headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, N.J., replaces Tom Salkowsky, who was shifted overseas to be department head, key account management at the global organization in Munich.

Noble, a ten-year veteran of BMW, was most recently general manager of sales at the Melbourne office of BMW Group Australia. He started with the luxury auto brand in 2005 as general manager of marketing Down Under, and held that role until mid-2011 when the sales responsibility was incorporated into his portfolio, per the organization.

He has also lived on the other side of the fence at an account executive at Saatchi and Saatchi's New York office and Wieden & Kennedy in Portland and Amsterdam for the Nike account. He also worked at D’Arcy in Melbourne.  He high-jumped to the marketing side for Adidas, where he was global brand manager in Germany.  He was also a marketer for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and  Australian Football League.
