It's not often ad agencies and design shops have the privilege of front and center position in an ad campaign. But with this Microsoft Surface Pro 3 effort from Dentsu Aegis, three agencies get to
shine. In an effort to persuade the creative community that the tablet can become the device of choice, Denstu has launched #SurfaceCreate, a design contest of sorts that has three London shops take
on an ambitious creative project. PAN Studio, Ditto Press and Studio Swine will each endeavor to show off their creative skills with individual efforts. Pan Studio will provide "a simple interface
that controls percussive hammers over Bluetooth, transforming everyday objects into musical instruments." Ditto Press will "be compiling swatches that detail the myriad print processes they use into a
valuable business tool." And Studio Swine will create "the ultimate high-heeled shoe from the lightweight, but exceptionally strong, aluminum foam – a material composed of 90% air and 10%
metal." The #SurfaceCreate project will be
housed on Huffington Post.
