Millions of Americans' Facebook pages are burning up with an Italian message that is both sweet and hot: As a PSA about domestic violence, Fanpage.it has made a short film asking a handful of adorable little boys to slap an equally angelic young girl. Critics are angry, saying the ad objectifies the girl (who never gets a chance to say what she wants to be when she grows up), and that the invitation to caress her is outright creepy. Those in favor think any awareness is good awareness, and that the boys’ reasons for not slapping her (“It’s never okay to hit a girl, even with a flower”) are priceless. See it for yourself here.
