Former Y&R CCO Joins Arnold As Global Chief Creative Officer

Arnold, which just had its relatively new Boston office open floor plan profiled in the Boston Globe -- heaven help you all -- has hired former Y&R Chief Creative Director Jim Elliott to become the agency's Global Chief Creative Officer.

The role is a new one for the agency and one which Arnold Global President Pam Hamlin says, "is a really big part of the next part of plans here at Arnold -- building our brand here in the U.S. and beyond. We really felt like there was a need for someone to be a really close partner of mine… to spread the message of Arnold across our offices."

Elliott's appointment is Hamlin's latest addition to the agency's management team. At Y&R, Elliott has worked on such large brands as Land Rover, Campbell Soup, Virgin Atlantic and Dell.

Of joining Arnold, Elliott said, "It's really going to be about growing Arnold. What's great is that it has this boutique feel, but with the resources and support of the Havas network."
