Web's Big Players Team Up To Tackle Malware

Facebook has launched a new platform to tackle malware and spam attacks by encouraging tech giants to collaborate and share threat information. The social network yesterday announced the ‘ThreatExchange’ platform which will see major websites share malware and spam threats with each other to ensure the smooth operation of their websites. So far, Twitter, Tumblr, Yahoo, Pinterest, Dropbox, and Bitly will work together to tackle the threat of increasingly sophisticated spam attacks.
