Telmar Continues Research Run, Taps Fountas For Americas

Long-time media researcher Anna Fountas has joined media planning software giant Telmar as president of The Americas. Fountas, who most recently was vice president research at the Digital Place-Based Advertising Association, previously held senior positions at a Who’s Who of Madison Avenue research suppliers, including Kantar’s TNS Media Intelligence, Scarborough Research, Simmons and Arbitron, and was also president ot the Traffic Audit Bureau.

In her new role, Fountas will oversee Telmar’s operations in the U.S., Canada and South America, reporting to Global President Corey Panno, who adds the title Chief Growth Officer.

Fountas is the second recent high-profile researcher hire at Telmar, following long-time GfK MRI exec Paul Gold, who joined as vice president-strategic data operations in February.
