Two East Coast agencies hope to become stronger as one.
Integrated marketing shop
PureRed is acquiring full-service Ferrara & Company to create an agency focused on retail, consumer product goods and business-to-business clients. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, Ferrara & Co. will retain its branding within the PureRed family. The combined resources and capabilities are intended to help the agency become the “go to”
agency for best in class multichannel communications, say agency executives.
Ferrara & Company employs around 80 people, while PureRed has an estimated 350. Art Ferrara, president
and CEO of Ferrara & Company, will report to Michael Minasi, CEO of PureRed.
Ferrara initiated the move, thinking that the two were a strategic fit.
“This transaction
brings together two agencies with impressive track records of successfully supporting America’s greatest brands. We share a culture of creativity, innovation and service” says Minasi.
“I could not be more excited to welcome Art and the entire Ferrara team to the PureRedd family. Together, we will continue to create marketing programs that deliver the strongest possible
impact.”
