Digital radio ad tech firm AdsWizz has announced the appointment of Pierre Naggar as VP of programmatic demand, Europe.
Naggar will oversee AdsWizz’s client’s relationships with demand-side platforms (DSPs) and agency trading desks across Europe, per a release. On the sell-side, AdsWizz partners with digital audio publishers to help them sell their audio inventory.
Naggar was formerly managing director of Turn’s European business, per a release. Prior to Turn, he held roles at Yahoo Europe and 24/7 Real Media.
Radio has become programmatic’s newest puzzle piece, and companies are racing to solve it first. For example, broadcast radio giant iHeartMedia recently appointed Carter Brokaw to lead its programmatic efforts. Last year, AdsWizz and iHeartMedia teamed to insert targeted audio ads into live broadcast radio streams.
