Online retailer SharperImage.com has selected independent media agency Ocean Media as its agency of record for television media buying.  

Ocean Media, based in Huntington Beach, CA, will manage the company’s broadcast media planning and buying, focusing on  cable TV. 

SharperImage.com’s national campaign is slated to begin in November and will run throughout the holiday season.  

Relaunched in 2010, SharperImage.com and their iconic catalog are owned and operated by Camelot Venture Group, a private equity group that invests primarily in direct-to-consumer companies, including online, catalog, retail, technology, financial services and sports management.  Holdings have included NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, Quicken Loans and 1-800-CONTACTS.
