Three of Fox’s new shows this season -- “Grandfather,” “The Grinder” and “Scream Queens” running on Tuesday -- barely got over the 1.1 rating mark among 18-49 viewers, looking at Nielsen preliminary live program plus same day viewing numbers.
All three shows lost ground versus the week before. Fox averaged a 1.1 rating/4 share for the night -- down 24% from the week before.
NBC and CBS tied for the best results on the night with an average 1.9/6 among 18-49ers -- NBC was down 38% versus the week before; CBS, off 3%. NBC ran a highlight show of “The Voice” versus an original episode the previous week.

NBC’s had the best broadcast program result of the night with “The Voice” (a 2.2/7); CBS’ “NCIS” was right behind, a 2.1/7.
Among the new shows this season, CBS’ “Limitless” came up the best result -- a 1.7/.6, losing two tenths of a rating point. ABC’s “The Muppets” was next, losing about a half a rating point from the previous week to a 1.6/6.
CW’s season premiere for the second season of “The Flash” did well for this network on this night -- a 1.4/5 -- though down a half a rating point from its start a year ago.
Among key 18-49 viewers, after NBC and CBS’s leading 1.9/6; ABC was at a 1.4/5 on the night; and Fox and CW tied with a 1.1/4. CBS easily won the overall viewing battle: 13.4 million viewers. NBC was at 7.4 million; ABC, 4.1 million; Fox, 3.2 million; and CW, 2.6 million.
