    Impressive figures.

But this number can't be compared with a TV rating.   TV ratings are based on the 'average minute audience'.   This means that while the audience ebbs and flows within an episode the average for any one minute was the TV rating audience.

So how does this 5.7m over three days compare.

Let's assume that it is a full three days - a total of 72 hours.   With 60 minutes in an hour, that 5.7m viewers accumulated over 4,320 minutes.   So, the average number of viewers per minute was 1,319.

Let's also assume that each viewer watched all 90 minutes.   The average minute audience would be just under 120,000.

I'm also assuming that the 5.7m was domestic viewers only and not global.

The moral of the story - don't compare linear TV ratings with non-linear on-demand or catch-up viewer numbers.
