Jimmy Dean Offers 11-Hour Sausage Yule Log Video

Fans of the endlessly looping footage of a burning holiday yule log aired on Christmas by New York City's WPIX TV station now have an online alternative with a twist: Jimmy Dean has posted a "Sausage Yule Log" video on its YouTube channel.

During the course of 11 hours' worth of footage of Jimmy Dean Fully Cooked Sausage Links sizzling above a crackling fire, (extremely dedicated) viewers will be able to spot "intriguing surprises" revealed through changes in the camera angle, reports the brand.

Those will include an opportunity to retrieve a clickable coupon for Jimmy Dean fully cooked sausage, along with content tweaks like changes to the mantle decorations, presents appearing under the tree and Nutcracker appearances.

The video, created by Ogilvy & Mather Chicago, is being supported by online advertising and sponsored social content on Facebook and Twitter.

an 11 hour sausage sounds like you should call the doctor, since 4 hours is the new cutoff.
