WPP's Possible Expands Into Germany, Extends LATAM Presence With Agency Acquisition

WPP Digital agency Possible has acquired full-service digital agency Conrad Caine. Based in Munich with offices in Erlangen, Pelotas (Brazil) and Buenos Aires, the 140-person agency creates campaigns for global and local brands, helping them connect with consumers across online, mobile, video and social platforms. Terms weren’t disclosed.

Conrad Caine was founded in 1998 and has worked with clients such as Siemens, Deutsche Bank and Goodyear Dunlop. According to WPP, the agency had revenues of about $9 million in 2014.

“Europe is a strategic region for us and the German market is key as we continue to grow POSSIBLE globally,” said Possible CEO Shane Atchison.

The acquisition immediately provides Possible with a major presence in the German market and adds operations in Brazil and Argentina. It also expands Possible’s technology footprint, specifically deepening their Java development capabilities and the agency’s B2B experience.

With the acquisition the firm will operate under the name Possible within Germany and South America and be led by current CEO, and agency namesake, Conrad Caine.
