Horizon Media is going beyond just buying media for the U.S launch of Frederique's Choice, a
lifestyle e-commerce and content brand centered on all things flowers founded by Netherlands supermodel Frederique Van Der Wal.
Horizon Media has invested in Frederique’s Choice,
with a stake in in the company and leads media services for the brand.
The agency facilitated a series of meetings between Frederique’s Choice and A+E Networks, and pitched the idea
of a new TV show as the focal point of the floral brand’s U.S launch.
The inked agreement provides A+E Networks with an equity stake in the Frederique’s Choice business as
well, giving both partners an incentive to continue to grow the Frederique’s Choice brand in the U.S.
The show, "Home Grown Makeover with Frederique and Carter," which launched on
A&E’s FYI channel Jan. 9, is designed to introduce content that articulates the brand’s story in an authentic way that allows viewers to form a personal relationship with founder
Van Der Wal. The show follows her and her co-star celebrity designer, eco-living expert Carter Oosterhouse, as they solve home décor problems with flowers and plants.
The launch is
supported by an integrated SEO, SEM, PR, live event appearances and digital marketing support.
The episodic content is produced by Frederique’s Choice, Full Picture and Asylum
Entertainment with collaboration between the FYI programming team.
