There are signs of hope at Tesco after the retailer's sales fell by 0.8% year-on-year in the 12 weeks to 28 February, an improvement on the 1.6% fall in the 12 weeks to 31 January. The latest figures from Kantar show that Tesco's performance reflected more positive news in the wider grocery sector, in which sales were up 0.5% year-on-year. Aldi grew its sales by 15.1% year-on-year, while Lidl's were up 19%.
