Dentsu Aegis Buying Spree Continues With Purchase Of Flock Advertising

Dentsu Aegis Network capped off the week with the acquisition of Mexican digital creative agency Flock Advertising. Terms weren’t disclosed.

The purchase was the company’s third acquisition of the week. The Flock buy followed the purchase of data consulting firm Cardinal Path, which offers its services in the U.S. and Canada, and Adexpres Group which has several digital agencies located in the Czech Republic.

DAN said the acquisition of Flock will further bolster its growing digital profile, add a strong creative and production capability to complement its focus on media services in Mexico, and serve as a platform for Isobar’s Spanish-speaking Latin American markets.

The agency now counts 142 employees in its Mexico City headquarters, where it currently services 34 clients including Dominos Pizza, Jose Cuervo, Nike, The Coca-Cola Company, American Express and Cinepolis.

DAN said that Flock will rebrand to “Flock - linked by Isobar.”  The firm noted that Mexico is the second-largest economy in Latin America, behind Brazil, and is ranked as the 15th largest economy globally, based on GDP.
