GoDaddy released an update to its product suite for small businesses Wednesday, including several key email marketing upgrades.
The more than forty updates released
this week across every product line reflects a move to solidify the company as an all-in-one technology provider for small businesses.
Featured updates include the addition of more than ten
new domain names, a domains mobile application, an integration with UPS for product shipping and stock management, new cloud servers and cloud applications, as well as an expanded ability to select
data centers across Asia, Europe and North America.
“At GoDaddy, we’re completely dedicated to the growth and success of the small businesses that power the global economy,”
states Steven Aldrich, chief product officer at GoDaddy.
The updates are "the tip of the iceberg." Customers can expect to see a more regular cadence of updates in the future.
Email
encryption and workflow automation also rank among GoDaddy’s recently released upgrades.
In addition to offering free trials of GoDaddy Email Marketing for both new and existing Online
Store customers, the company has added a new feature that allows users to easily drag-and-drop store products directly into an email marketing campaign.
The company has added an automated
“Second Send” feature that allows select users to resend email messages to recipients who have yet to open the original message. Alternating subject lines help ensure the additional
messages are not labeled as spam.
Deeper email encryption for GoDaddy’s Office365 users protects businesses from data theft by safeguarding messages in transit.
