Enterprise’s partnership with Paramount Pictures’ is the brand’s first with a movie studio and most integrated marketing campaign for a film to date, says Lee Broughton, vice president, Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand marketing.

“Through this partnership, Enterprise has the opportunity to extend the movie experience and engage Star Trek fans across the country,” Broughton tells Marketing Daily.  “After 50 years, the universe finally brought these two historic brands with passionate fan bases together. Who knows? In another 50 years, perhaps intergalactic vehicles will be a part of our rental fleet. Meantime, we’re looking to explore strange new worlds with our customers this summer.”

The movie is an installment in the Star Trek franchise, created by Gene Roddenberry and reintroduced by J.J. Abrams in 2009. In “Beyond,” the Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.
