Sacramento-based MeringCarson's design firm Emcee Design is combining with creative studio Elevendy to become a full-service creative and design studio named Emcee11d. 

The 11-person group will be helmed by creative director Gerald Viray and the founder of Elevendy Dave Cox will serve as director of client engagement. The new agency will also benefit from the "strategic and creative expertise" of its parent agency MeringCarson. 

Ownership of MeringCarson was not affected by this merger. "We have found that Emcee11d's complimentary process and creative work means that there are many synergies between the agencies and our partners," says Greg Carson, partner, CCO, MeringCarson.

Emcee11d launches with a roster of clients that include Visit California, The Sacramento Railyards, Visit Napa Valley, and the Pacific Hospitality Group.
