Credit One Bank Matches Donations From NASCAR Fans For Vets

The official credit card of NASCAR is issuing a donation-matching challenge to the sport’s fans.

NASCAR fans can show support for veterans on this Fourth of July race weekend by making donations directly to U.S.VETS at www.usvetsinc.org. Credit One Bank will match all web donations made throughout the weekend, up to $15,000.

In addition, Credit One Bank will salute veterans by featuring the U.S.VETS logo on the No. 1 Credit One Bank Chevrolet SS piloted by Jamie McMurray at the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway on July 2.

"We've supported our local U.S.VETS chapter in Las Vegas for several years, and have seen firsthand the assistance it provides to veterans in need," said Laura Faulkner, vice president of marketing communications, Credit One Bank, in a release. "The 'NASCAR: An American Salute' initiative is the perfect platform to showcase the benefits of this organization on a national scale."

Prominently featured on the No. 1 Credit One Bank Chevrolet SS, the U.S.VETS logo will be spotlighted on the deck lid, as well as inside the cockpit where NBC Sports cameras will broadcast McMurray's quest for the checkered flag to millions of fans throughout the race.

Credit One Bank announced a multi-year partnership with NASCAR in February to include official agreements with both the sanctioning body and Chip Ganassi Racing. The No. 1 Credit One Bank Chevy SS debuted April 24 on the track at Richmond International Raceway.
