Smith Brothers Agency is acquiring 4Twelve Productions, the
companies have confirmed. Terms were not disclosed.
4Twelve is a multimedia production company that creates everything from full-length films and music videos to Vine videos and web
shorts.
The company has worked with clients such as Time Magazine, Carnegie Mellon University, Northeastern University and Pittsburgh Youth Leadership Summit.
The deal
will integrate 4Twelve’s video production team into Smith Brother’s existing Content Studio and 4Twelve's team of Joshua Eisenfeld, Zachary Eisenfeld, Daniel Finegold, and Stephen
Hicken will now work under the Content Studio umbrella.
The acquisition makes the Smith Bros. more nimble by giving it the ability to react quickly and produce video content relevant to
trending topics, the agency says.
“In the past, agencies would partner with a production company to produce video content,” says Michael Bollinger, president, Smith Brothers.
“By bringing video capabilities in-house, we give the directors and videographers the ability to provide strategic input during planning and brainstorming. It ensures the entire team is invested
in the creative output from the very beginning.”
