As perhaps the world’s most famous a cappella group, Pentatonix needs to keep the voices in shape. As the group prepare for its upcoming world tour, it has partnered with Ricola to
promote the soothing throat lozenges.
As part of the partnership, the a cappella group sings the brand’s iconic yodeling jingle in a video on a shared website, www.ricolaPTX.com. The video also features a look behind the scenes at the group’s life on the road, where they talk about touring together as
being “like a camp” and the importance of keeping their voices in shape. “Now that it’s been five years of on and off touring, I have definitely learned what to do and what not
to do for [my voice],” says group member Kristin Moldonado. Among the tips: drinking hot tea, vocal warm ups and using Ricola lozenges. “Ricola, I feel, is meant for singers,” says
Scott Hoying.

The brand will also sponsor its 22-date North American tour and will offer a chance to see the group live via a sweepstakes. The company will promote the group via
on-package messaging and retail displays, as well as through its social channels.
“Partnering with Pentatonix was a natural fit,” said Bill Higgins, Regional President,
North America at Ricola, in a statement. “Our jingle makes people sing, and who better to demonstrate the power of Ricola herb drops than artists who rely on their voices to bring joy to
millions of fans around the world?”
