We need to add this up, too, with the report that social media activity is off by an extraordinary amount from what was predicted by "experts"...far more than the ratings are off.
Rio had some really bad press even before the Olympics started. Also, the broadcast is not as good as the London games especially since the time zone difference is nothing like London. There is a lack luster this year and it is not about the athletes.
