Ad tech firm AppNexus on Tuesday said LinkedIn display inventory is now available through its platform -- which means advertisers can target LinkedIn’s audience through AppNexus’ open and
private auction buying options.
“We see this integration as an opportunity for programmatic buyers on our platform to access LinkedIn’s premium viewable inventory with professional
audience targeting,” stated Brian O’Kelley, CEO of AppNexus.
AppNexus’ real-time decisioning platform, and the suite of publisher products that it supports, will enable
LinkedIn to use its audience data to engage professionals in a privacy-safe way.
“It’s a natural evolution of our business to extend our programmatic inventory to the AppNexus
platform,” stated Russell Glass, VP of Product at LinkedIn. LinkedIn will use AppNexus’ open APIs to connect more buyers with its professional audience.
