Former Publicis Media Exec Weeks Named EFP Chief, Reunites With Swinand

Tom Weeks, a longtime Madison Avenue media executive, has been named CEO of Education Funding Partners, a company that creates marketing partnerships between Fortune 500 companies and public schools.

Weeks, who most recently was a senior consultant for the Content Collective at Omnicom Media Group, spent most of his advertising career at Publicis, most recently as senior vice president of Publicis Media.

He was one of the founder’s of Starcom MediaVest Group’s branded content practice, Starcom Entertainment, which morphed into Liquid Thread.

The move reunites Weeks with former SMG President Andrew Swinand, who is now CEO of Abundant Ventures, which operates EFP.
