Carat is the top-ranked global media agency network in RECMA’s latest Network Diagnostics Qualitative Evaluation report, issued this month.
It’s the eighth time in the last nine reports (issued twice yearly) that Carat, part of Dentsu Aegis Network, has achieved the top ranking.
The award is based on an assessment of major global network agencies across 45 countries. The agencies are evaluated against a minimum of 15 criteria, including new business, business retention, awards, talent and resources.
RECMA confirmed that Carat has extended the gap between itself and the No. 2 player, growing its dominance from a 0.6-point lead in February 2015, to a 1.2-point lead in the latest report.

Carat issued a statement announcing its first-place finish, which the media agency evaluator then confirmed. RECMA does not provide details about its reports, which are proprietary but permits agencies to discuss publicly their own results.
