Chicago-based ad agency Schafer Condon Carter (SCC) is launching MAKE247, a content creation studio.

Led by Leroy Koetz, SCC’s executive broadcast producer/director, the wholly-owned division of SCC will offer video, animation, motion graphics and photography, among other services.

 Katerina "Kat" Bizios will oversee client engagement and production management.

Restaurant chain Portillo's has signed on as the shop's first client. In addition to serving current clients, the unit will offer a la carte content creation services for brands outside of SCC's AOR client roster.

Client demand helped to drive the decision to package this concept more formally. "The beauty of MAKE247 is our ability to go up or down the budget continuum to deliver compelling brand content efficiently," says Koetz. "We can get super-scrappy, or go elegant depending on the need and budget."
