DDB New York beefed up its digital strategy and analytics with the hiring of Reema Mitra as group director, digital strategy and Joe Panzarella as group director of data and analytics. Both will report to Stuart Hazlewood, chief strategy officer of DDB New York. Both hires come following two account wins for the agency: the All detergent account and digital work for Breyers.

Mitra joins the agency from Huge, where she oversaw social media, social commerce, eCRM, loyalty, segmentation strategy for clients including Nokia Health and Kohl's. Prior to that, she worked at Edelman Digital on Dove's global online presence.

Panzarella has more than 20 years of experience in the advertising industry. He's also an adjunct professor teaching analytics and digital marketing at NYU's School of Professional Studies program. Prior to DDB, Panzarella oversaw the digital and analytics department for Javelin. He has worked on brands such as Verizon, AT&T, Avis and the 2010 U.S. Census.

"We are thrilled to have brought exceptional new talent into DDB NY; Reema and Joe have been instrumental to the realization of some of the smartest work in their fields," said Hazlewood. "They will help us take the quality of the agency's strategic product to even higher heights. The agency will be inspired by their energy, creativity and proven ability to tackle client challenges brilliantly."
