Laughlin Constable Taps Havas Vet For New Media Role

Ad agency Laughlin Constable has hired industry veteran Vanessa Watts as its EVP Media in charge of developing and executing media strategy across its client roster. The role at the agency is new. 

Watts joins Laughlin from Havas Media in Chicago, where she led the agency’s new business efforts and worked on Sears Holdings, Reynolds Consumer Products and Valspar.

Her 20 years of experience also include stints with BBDO and DDB and a portfolio of clients, ranging from challenger to large national brands.

Founded in 1976, LC has offices in Chicago and Milwaukee and currently claims annual billings of more than $280 million. Clients include Wisconsin Department of Tourism, Bon-Ton Stores, Sears Auto Centers, Lung Cancer Alliance,  Northwestern Medicine, Acuity, ManpowerGroup, Master Lock and  Fram Group. 

“Vanessa has a wealth of experience delivering full media service to clients and pushing them to do innovative work,” stated Mat Lignel, LC’s CEO and President.

He added that Watts “brings a deep grasp of the media landscape and collaboration” to the position.
