Fox TV Group Taps Ryan As CMO

Fox Television Group has a new Chief Marketing Officer -- network veteran Shannon Ryan.

The company says this is a new post. Ryan will have responsibility for all marketing and publicity for the Fox broadcasting network, as well as TV production companies Twentieth Century Fox Television and Fox 21 Television Studios.

Ryan had been responsible for all publicity/communications -- as well as creative services, talent relations, special operations and experiential marketing for Fox Television Group. She had also been EVP of marketing/communications for the Fox broadcast network.

Ryan will report to Fox Television Group Chairmen/CEOs Gary Newman and Dana Walden.

In addition, former ABC marketing executive Darren Schillace has been named EVP, marketing for the Fox Broadcasting Company.

Schillace will manage the network’s marketing strategy, as well as media, social content marketing, affiliate, multichannel video program distributors marketing, special operations and brand partnerships. He will report to Ryan.

At ABC, Schillace headed up all marketing strategies for prime-time, late-night and daytime programming, on-air promotion, off-network creative, digital marketing, creative and social media, paid media, strategic partnerships and events.
