After 15 Years Jack In The Box Reviews Media Assignment

Well, after a 15-year run with Horizon Media, fast-food chain Jack in the Box has called a media agency review. But the relationship could continue, as the client confirms Horizon will defend.

Adweek broke the story yesterday, including confirmation from the client, which issued this statement to the publication:

“Jack in the Box has made the decision to conduct a media agency review and has retained SRI to manage the process. The review is part of Jack in the Box’s commitment to regularly evaluating resources, partners and vendors.”

Wow, Jack in the Box, you call 15-years “regularly evaluating?”

Do you have any idea what media wasn’t around when you last formerly reviewed your assignment? Try Facebook, Instagram and most of the rest of social media. There has been a couple of developments in the mobile space, too; I’m sure SRI will update you.

Geez, I sure hope you evaluate your food safety standards more often than that.
