Redkix Offers Email-Based Messaging Platform In Beta

Redkix is rolling out an email-based team messaging platform in public beta. The product allows users to manage their messaging and email through one location, the company says

Users can sign up through iOS, Android (private beta), Windows and maOS.

Redkix says there have been over 500,000 conversations since the service was launched in private beta in June 2016. The firm adds that collaboration tools work only when there is 100% participation in a company.

Other tools have attempted to kill email, but email is at the center of almost every company’s communications, the firm says.

The platform also allows non-Redkix users to participate in a conversation by email.

“To succeed at making work easier, we believe that allowing anyone to participate, without any friction, is key. We’ve accomplished that by embracing email as part of the solution,” states Oudi Antebi, co-founder and CEO of Redkix.

There are two pricing tiers: Starter and Teams. The premium Teams version, which will be available shortly in private beta, starts at $6 per user per month. Redkix will also soon offer Enterprise-level support with Okta and Active Exchange, the company says.

According to TechCrunch, Redkix has raised about $20 million in funding to date.

The company, which has offices in San Mateo, California and Tel Aviv, Israel, plans to grow the staff to 60 people by the end of the year, TechCrunch added.
