NBCUniversal has created a new senior-level digital ad sales post, reporting to Linda Yaccarino, chairman of advertising sales and client partnerships for NBCUniversal.
Dow Jones’ senior advertising executive Trevor Fellows has been hired as EVP of digital sales and strategy.
Fellows will oversee new and existing business models for the company's digital partnerships for the entire NBCU portfolio, responsible for revenue across the company's owned, digital and social-media properties.
Yaccarino stated: "As linear and digital media markets converge and viewer consumption patterns continue to change, Trevor will help create the next generation of scaled media opportunities for our marketing partners.”
Fellows will work closely with Maggie Suniewick, president of digital enterprises, as well as the company's investment and strategic partners: BuzzFeed, Vox Media, Snapchat, YouTube and Apple.
Since 2013, he had been EVP/CRO of the Dow Jones Company, where he oversaw digital, sponsorship and conference revenue growth for more than nine consecutive quarters.
Before Dow Jones, Fellows was head of global advertising sales for Bloomberg from 2000 to 2013, overseeing global sales teams in Europe and Asia. Prior to Bloomberg, Fellows held a variety of senior publishing roles and was based in London for 15 years.
