'Vogue,' Vice Team Up For Video-Heavy Editorial Collaboration

In the media world, Vice and Vogue could not be any more different.

Vice is the Brooklyn-based, video-centric digital media company that prides itself on taking an anti-establishment stance.

Vogue is the Condé Nast-owned magazine, part of the very fabric of New York’s fashion establishment.

Now, however, these two media brands are partnering on a new editorial project, tentatively called Project Vs, which will “showcase figures, movements and issues making an impact on society today,” according to the announcement.

The new collaboration will be video-heavy, along with long-form text and photo content. Editors from both Vice and Vogue will create content for the new venture, which will launch early next year, and is slated to run for 100 days.

Condé Nast will lead the ad sales effort for Project Vs.

More information on the collaboration will be revealed at the Omnicon Media Group Final Front Thursday.
