AWeber, a provider of email marketing software, has added “click automations” to its email marketing platform.
The tool allows small business owners to segment their email subscribers based on the links they click, the company says. Companies can use it to "automatically send targeted content” to consumers, in the time frame they choose, states Clifton Thomas, lead product manager for the feature's development.
In addition, they can create robust email marketing funnels and incorporate branching logic into their automated email sequences, the company says.
Clients can use Campaigns, AWeber’s drag-and-drop automation builder, to apply the new capability.
Click automations and email automation are included at no additional cost, the company adds.
"Email continues to be a strong driver of revenue and business growth for small businesses,” states Tom Kulzer, AWeber's founder and CEO. “As technology evolves, the attention of email subscribers even more limited.”
Founded in 1998, AWeber serves around 100,000 clients with a software suite consisting of web-based email marketing and automation tools. It also offers educational online courses.
