McCann Worldgroup has appointed Hugo Rodrigues Chairman and CEO of its Brazilian operation WMcCann. He was most recently President and CEO of Publicis Brazil, an agency where he had also served as Chief Creative Officer before rising to the top position.  

"Hugo is one the most successful Brazilian ad leaders today and a world-class creative talent, and we are very pleased he is joining us,” said Luca Lindner, President of McCann Worldgroup. “He is known for helping clients grow their businesses with big brand ideas which matches up with our multidiscipline strategies and capabilities.” 

Rodrigues will report jointly to Rob Reilly, Global Creative Chairman of McCann Worldgroup, and Fernando Fascioli, President of McCann Worldgroup Latin America & Caribbean. Martin Montoya remains as President for WMcCann, and will report to Rodrigues.
