
CNN’s streaming video brand Great
Big Story has named Christine Cook senior VP of global sales and brand strategy.
Cook, who most recently led advertiser partnerships for Flipboard, will be tasked with
“strengthening revenue strategies” and “identifying opportunities for advertiser growth” at GBS, per a press release.
GBS primarily features branded sponsorships
in its content, which is distributed on social platforms and on places like YouTube. Going forward, however, GBS may expand to become a stand-alone over-the-top video network, as CNN president Jeff
Zucker said earlier this month.
