Google Says Publishers Lose $1.27bn Per Year To Video Fraudsters

New research from Google estimates publishers are losing $1.27bn per year through fraudsters impersonating their inventory on video ad exchanges. According to The Drum, the fraudsters can make as many as 700m false video ad requests per day. The advice from Google is for publishers to use ads.txt to block the criminals.
