Identillect Technologies Corp. is working with QubeChain on a project to combine multi-factor authentication and blockchain technology in an effort to improve email security.

Their product, Self-Sovereign ID, is designed for companies at higher risk or with advanced security demands, the firms say.

The companies note that weak passwords can render security systems ineffective.

However, Rees Morgan, CEO of QubeChain, argues that “combining a blockchain infrastructure with MFA advances the security and integrity of the information.”

Identillect offers an email encryption service called Delivery Trust.QubeChain works with industry verticals to offer products that use blockchain technology to solve pain points, it says.
