NBCUniversal says hired a veteran Univision advertising executive Ana Ceppi. She will be senior vice president of Hispanic strategy and client experience at
NBCUniversal Advertising sales.
Ceppi will serve as a advisor and liaison to NBC’s external client and agency partners, helping to promote the company’s efforts in
the Hispanic marketplace and for the NBCU Telemundo network brand.
Ceppi will report to Laura Molen, executive vice president of lifestyle and hispanic advertising sales group of
NBCUniversal.
Working at Univision for the last six years, Ceppi was most recently vice president of business development at Univision, where she pushed new business into the Hispanic
marketplace.
Previously, she was vice president of 360 global advertising/brand management for American Express. Before that, Ceppi was senior vice president group account director at McCann
Erickson for 10 years.
For the 2016-2017 TV season, Univision and Telemundo were tied in younger demographic ratings among Nielsen 18-49 viewers for live program viewing plus seven days of
time-shifted viewing -- a 0.6 rating/2 share.
Univision averaged 1.81 million overall prime-time viewers, while Telemundo averaged 1.51 million.
