Google Play app downloads surpassed 19 billion in the fourth quarter of 2017,
TechCrunch reports, citing a new report from App Annie. “That also makes Google Play’s download lead
over iOS its largest ever, at 145 percent,”
TC notes. “Specifically, the downloads were driven by markets including India, Indonesia, and Brazil.”
