ValiMail is offering an email authentication solution through the SendGrid Partner Marketplace.

The tool, which authenticates emails through Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance (DMARC), is now available to more than 58,000 SendGrid customers. 

According to ValiMail, over 76% of mailboxes worldwide use DMARC to check incoming mail. Companies that embrace DMARC enjoy deliverability rates and brand safeguards from phishers seeking to use their domain names, and are protected against fraudulent email, the firm adds.

ValiMail also contends that DMARC provides detailed information on exactly which services are sending email on their behalf, both authorized or unauthorized. 

DMARC also allows consumers the assurance that emails from known brands are not phishing attempts.

“The number of domains actively using DMARC records has tripled in the past 12 months,” states Mandeep Khera, CMO, ValiMail. .

Khera adds that “growth has been propelled by the clear value DMARC provides, as well as the FTC’s recent recommendation that businesses use DMARC, and by the DHS mandate that federal agencies deploy DMARC in 2018.”
