Relish Tray Media, an email marketing and automation agency based in Chicago, has been acquired by Mojo Media Labs, a digital agency headquartered in Irving, Texas. Terms were not disclosed.

The acquired company will now be known as the Mojo Media Labs Chicago office. It is Mojo’s second location.

The firms began partnering and communicating last November, and realized they have a “shared vision,” states Liz Ryan, CEO of Relish Tray Media. Her title will now be president, Chicago office.

The combined firm has 16 employees, with 12 of them working in the flagship Dallas office.

Relish Tray Media will bring “years of email marketing wand marketing automation experience” to Mojo’s digital team, Ryan adds.

Noting that “there is a lot of agency consolidation in the industry,” Mojo CEO Mike Rose adds that his firm has “an attractive M&A strategy,” and sees an opportunity to add more locations.
