Email vendor iPost has relaunched its email platform to help mid-market and enterprise customers not currently served by enterprise ESPs, the firm announced on Monday.
In addition, iPost has named Per Caroe to head sales and business development.
The company has “a new team, new software and new platform,” states CEO Cameron Kane. It offers integrated features and efficient workflows, Kane continues.
Caroe was most recently at IBM, serving as global marketing evangelist, global business development (agency) director, and in other roles. Caroe ran teams at IBM and Silverpop before and alter the Silverpop acquisition, iPost adds.
Caroe states that “marketers want an ESP that has enterprise capabilities without being bloated with useless garbage that looks good on a PowerPoint preso.”
