Pegasystems Inc. is offering a product called GDPR Accelerator, consisting of templates that can help firms comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Accelerator allows brands to manage GDPR requests and to see which data they are holding on customers across the enterprise, according to the company.

Pegasystems found in a study of 7,000 EU residents that 82% plan to exercise the right to view, limit or erase data on themselves. This can be a challenge to legacy systems and siloed organizations, and could result in the loss of valuable data, the firm says 

GDPR Accelerator provides customizable GDPR templates and sample best practices extensions for Pega Customer Service and Pega Platform users, the company adds. It can be downloaded by those users for free.
