FCB is partnering with Oneighty, as the network wanted a "standout creative partner" in Puerto Rico, according to FCB Worldwide CEO Carter Murray.
Founded in 2014, the full-service, strategic
advertising agency is helmed by Chief Creative Officer Ricky Soler, former executive creative director at FCB Puerto Rico and CEO Javier Tirado, former executive creative director at BBDO Puerto
Rico.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As an alliance of FCB, the agency will continue to work under the Oneighty name.
The 15-person staff will now handle all of
FCB’s clients in Puerto Rico, as well as maintain its current roster, which includes top local brands like Honda, Cheerios, Abbott Nutrition and Nestlé Purina Petcare. At a regional
level, clients include Heineken Americas, Yoplait, Old El Paso and Wyndham Hotel Group.
