Dotmailer has added several features to its marketing automation platform, including in-email product recommendations.
The enhanced platform provides clients with access to SMS, Facebook
Messenger and helps them retarget across Google AdWords and Facebook Audiences, the company says.
The objective is to help businesses “grow through modern and effective marketing
techniques which engage customers,” states dotmailer CEO Milan Patel. “And with customers using multiple different channels each day, your business must be there
too.”
Dotmailer cites ARF research that shows moving to two channels can increase ROI by 19%, and expanding to five by 35%.
According to dotmailer, its new capabilities
include:
- Facebook Messenger, SMS automation, facilitating outreach and re-engagement campaigns.
- Re-targeting toward Facebook Audiences and Google AdWords, allowing brands to
retarget email non-responders.
- Product recommendations sent direct to customers via email
- Instant automation
- Improved data-consent, in line with the General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Several of the new functions are available via the EasyEditor and Program Builder functions inside dotmailer, the firm adds.
