Revcontent, a content recommendation network, has been in the forefront of fighting fake news and showing publishers new ways to increase revenue.
Recognizing Revcontent’s work against fake news and its work to eliminate sexually explicit content to ensure brand safety for its partners, James Johnson, managing director at MarTech Breakthrough, stated: “We know that engaging audiences with content is all about delivering the right content at the right time to the right audience. This year’s winners were selected from more than 2,000 nominations across a range of marketing, sales and advertising technology categories, that included marketing automation, market research and customer experience, AdTech, SalesTech and mobile marketing, among others.
For its part, Revcontent believes its success as a young business comes from the growth its publishing partners record, with many experiencing two to three times higher RPMs than with other industry networks.
In early August, Revcontent introduced a program called AutomaticRev that guarantees publishers 50% more ad revenue, compared to what they would see with other companies like Taboola and Outbrain.
The company offers a 90-day trial for publishers to test their results.
